About RM 120 in total. Steamed freshwater fish done just right. Even though there are chilli, after scrapping the seeds away, it was not too spicy. Pig knuckle meat tears off easily and skin melts in your mouth. Potato leaves were wok fried with deep fried garlic and tasted fresh.
For a restaurant located within temple grounds, Tian Xia delivers surprisingly delicious meat dishes! Heed the advice of regular patron Tastemaker Brian Leow and round up your family to lunch on their Braised Pork Knuckle (RM39). Striking a balance between fatty skin and supple meat, this gargantuan dish redolent of vinegar flavour is good to share between four to five people. Also recommended is their Steamed Catfish with Soy Sauce (RM46), which relies on the sheer freshness of the fish to delight. For a third hit, don't miss out on the restaurant's famous Ginger Chicken (RM30). If you don't sight ginger, don't send the dish back — its flavour has sufficiently seeped into the sauce. With the medley of meat, rejoice that for only RM1 per person, white rice will be served in a free-flow vat.

Expect whopping meat dishes at Tien Xia, despite the location. Every table seems to have an order of the Braised Pork Knuckle (RM39) and rightfully so — the vinegary flavours come through every sliver of meat that falls easily off the bone. Also really enjoyed the Steamed Catfish (RM46) that's pure freshness!
Probably the most indulgent dish we've ever had on #BriansMakanTour. This Braised Pig Trotter takes the cake for best pork dish everrrrrr. The texture is so good. Moist, tender and packed in flavour, it's no surprise that this is the most popular dish here. Never mind the irony that this was had inside a Chinese temple, other favourites include their ginger chicken and signature steamed catfish – nom!
