Not the conventional salted egg sauce, but it's okay enough to elevate freshly fried chicken.
I love biscuits but this was dumb. Pandan kaya wasn't fused with the biscuit, it's just kaya squeezed on top wtf. Worse, the biscuit seemed undercooked.
Juicy butterfried chicken and crunchy pickles sandwiched between a fluffy brioche bun. The spicy cajun sauce packs a punch and isn't to be messed with. And all this (with the limited time truffle fries and drink) under $10🔥
Freaking amazing chicken sandwich! It’s truly as good as everyone says it is. As a chilli lover, this actually make me perspire 🥵🥵 the soft brioche bun and spicy Mayo w pickles rly complimented it super well!
one of the rare food trends which really lived up to its hype 💕💕💕 absolutely loved the chicken burger; the chicken was super juicy and tender with a slight hint of spiciness to it. paired with the spicy sauce and super soft brioche bun (which reminded me of the bun that old sch western stall serves but better), i just couldn’t stop taking bites after bites. the pickled cucumber also provided the burger with a refreshing bite & what made it better was that it didn’t taste as sour and sharp as normal pickles making it more acceptable for most ppl.
the fries, biscuit and mashed potato were as good as usual. in fact, i think that popeyes have one of the best fast food fries with how crispy and well seasoned it is. & their biscuit didn’t disappoint as usual. it was a light buttery smell & the top and bottom of the biscuit had a slight crunch to it which gave the biscuit more texture. and it just tasted so damn good when paired with the strawberry jam.
the tenders were not at their best tonight; albeit under seasoned, the remaining items were so good that it didn’t make our meal any less enjoyable.

Don't like the chicken sandwich, the batter crust was thick and greasy, the actual size of the chicken thigh meat was really thin and small. The fried mushroom was very good, crispy on the outside and still retain moist on the inside.
Decent sized pieces of chicken and a fair mix of thighs, drumsticks and wings. Said to be marinated 12 hrs in Popeyes spicy chicken marinade, then hand-battered and breaded in a unique Southern crispy coating. Above average.
Shoestring fries nicely sprinkled with cajun seasoning. Hints of pepper, paprika and onion/garlic.
Soft smooth mashed patotoes covered with cajun gravy that has a slight garlicky flavor.
My first "scone" ever was the one from Popeyes and from then on biscuit-y on the outside and soft, dense on the inside has been what I look for in good scones!! Of course tasty too.. The ones at Popeyes are decent @1.3$ for one along w Heinz strawberry jam 😛 an affordable scones options
