I like how the tartness of the glacรฉ cherries is balanced by the dark chocolate shavings, but I personally find the cake layers to be slightly dry.
Nonetheless, topped with whipped fluffy cream and juicy maraschino cherries, this is the cake for all Black Forest fans!

This looked so good I had to try ๐ But alas I was a bit disappointed. There is a very strong almond taste, and it overwhelms the pear & crust. If you like almonds/almond beancurd you might like this!
