A multi-hued roll of deliciousness at the end of the rainbow is how Iād liken these tuna, tamago and salmon rolls stuffed with snow crab meat. The lurid orange snowfall of tobiko adds delightfully briny bursts of flavour with each bite too.

Slicked in scampi oil, these al-dente noodles were practically soaking in umami, and that cascade of deep-fried sakura ebi over the side was a glorious sight to behold.

Enjoyable but nothing out of the ordinary, the rather common tasting beef was helped along somewhat by the boisterous kimchi. Not something Iād order again.

All the hallmarks of a classic Japanese fried rice are present ā quality short grain rice suffused with the aroma of garlic, fluffy bits of egg, and that tantalising whiff of smokiness. Plum & Toro jazzes their version up with sakura ebi shrimp.

Indulged in a double portion of the Kuro Buta / skewered toasted pork belly ($12.00 per portion of 3 sticks) thanks to our Burpple Beyond deal.
The fatty pork just melts perfectly in your mouth and is best paired with the dark miso paste and mustard that it comes served with.
Slight word of caution: The fatty meat is REALLY fatty. So if this makes you jelat, perhaps just one portion is enough š¤
This dish stole the show at plum & toro. An absolute delight. Will return just for this! The umami flavor coupled with the crispy shrimp was unforgettable.
