The Black Pepper Beef Horfun ($6.50) from Pepper Bowl at Amoy Street Food Centre (#02-102) is delicious. Tender beef slices and soft cabbage are drenched in a super peppery and flavourful sauce that packs a punch. The hor fun is full of wok hei and the chilli sauce is zesty. So good!

๐๐ž๐ž๐Ÿ ๐‡๐จ๐ซ ๐…๐ฎ๐ง ($6; 4.5 โญ๏ธ) - Hearty & substantial bowl with lots of tender chewy beef and caramelised onions. Weโ€™ve had time more times than we can count, and would recommend the hor fun over the rice version for the stronger wok hei and bold peppery flavour and overall shiok factor. Great in takeaway form as well!

For $5.50, there was generous amount of beef slices, I even wonder were there more beef than hor fun even. Beef was tender with a slight chewiness that went well with a stir of onsen egg ($0.60).

Queue was pretty long during lunch so prepare to queue while hunting for seats at Amoy!

Love the black pepper beef horfun! For just $5.50, you get lots of tender beef slices and satisfaction too :)

One of my staples whenever I am at Amoy Street is the beef hor fun from Pepper Bowl located at the 2nd floor.
For only $5.50 you get a generous bowl of goodness. Recommend adding 60cents for an onsen egg to bring the dish to the next level (trust me).

the black pepper sauce is soooo good! I added an onsen egg and itโ€™s a nice creamy addition. Would like to try this over rice next time.
