Japanese cuisine with a wide range of audience favourites: Start with guilty-pleasure deep-fried snacks like battered chicken skin with a savoury crunch (RM6) and soft-shell crab with onsen tamago for a runny-yolked dip (RM26), then share sushi platters like ball-shaped temari topped with tuna, salmon, shrimp, surf clam, and yellowtail (RM28) and maki with lightly torched salmon, ikura, and mentaiko sauce (RM11) (RM29). You won't be thirsty with this smooth cold sake (RM30 per tokkuri).

Tasty Japanese grub, an impressive sake menu and good vibes ā your next dinner with the gang, sorted. Start with Japas like the Tempura Moriawase (RM19), lightly-coated tempura prawns and vegetables or Pachi Pachi (RM6), deep fried chicken skin best paired with a drink. On yakitori, both the Lamb Rack (RM19) and Chicken Wing (RM5) are must-orders. Beer drinkers, Peko Peko runs a sweet buy-two-free-one deal from only RM22. But if sake is more up your alley, let the friendly team help recommend which of their many bottles goes best with the food.
Again, well-cooked with a smoky sear. If I had to nitpick, Iād like the sweet potato to be a little softer though this was soft but with bite.
On yakitori, the lamb rack (one rib) is the house favourite and a must-order when here. I really enjoyed the peppery marinade, and the cook on the meat is perfect. Nice and pink on the inside with a nice sear on the outside.
The friendly waitress recommended this dish to pair with drinks, so of course we went with her suggestion. Nice fried fresh prawns, veggies and mushrooms with a light batter for a decent price. Best had with sake.
Simple and delicious. Fairly generous amounts of beef cooked in a very savoury sauce. I kept going in for more and finished the whole bowl lol. The egg was cooked perfectly cooked with a runny centre ā score!
