Presentation-wise, it was quite a spectacular dish. The soup was in a hot stone bowl, and it is served with the soup bubbling temptingly in front of you. It was accompanied by a thin spring roll that was a good accompaniment to the soup. As for the soup itself, it was really rich and flavourful, though I felt it was a tad too starchy. It left an unpleasant stickiness on your lips after a few mouthfuls. But the portion given was really generous, so that's always a plus.
Simple, classic fried rice that really surprises you at how good it is on the first bite. The fish roe adds a nice crunch to each bite. Chunks of crab meat help make this otherwise nondescript bowl of rice all that more delicious. The rice is well-fried, and not too oily.
Braised Superior Shark’s Fin with Hairy Crab Roe accompanied with Spring Roll served in Japanese Stone Pot.
The braised shark’s fin soup was served in a hot stone bowl, which keeps the broth heated throughout the meal. The broth was rich in flavour and enjoyable, the portion was extremely generous I am not complaining at all.
Jellies are absolutely the way to go as a dessert and combining the gelatine with fresh crab meat is a good way to promote the lusciously sweet and delicate meat. This is not served as a dessert but a palate teaser before the main crab feast.
The combination of rice cake with hairy crab roe and mushrooms delivers an irresistible taste. With the richness of the crab roe topping and the alluring smoky flavour of "wok hei" this dish will surely whet your taste buds.
really good and love de way they dealt with the dish .. crispy spicy flavourful.
