Felt that the price was quite justified lol esp given the incredibly tender pork(slightly fatty but full of oomph) drenched in that amazing sweet and savoury sauce. A lovely rendition of wet kouroubao(actl depends on how much sauce u want to spoon on)
This dish is so hearty, its the kind of food u crave for on a rainy day. Many different sources of umami from the thick broth to the salted fish and the egg drop, you can just keep slurping it. There's also little bursts of slight saltiness from the chye Poh so it amps up the savouriness further.
This was so incredibly good that I was quite stunned by it. When I saw it I thought it looks very different from the pic, the broth looks watery and there were only 3 measly pieces of pork. Little did I know many more tender pieces of minced pork was hidden underneath the heap of beautifully cooked noodles and the broth was incredibly enticing with the Chinese chili oil and the slight sourness. So good and so value for money
