The owner (not the guys behind Hatter Street, but the new owner Aloysius Chan) would like to thank everyone for their support and visit these 8 months. See you again someday!
OMT Dou Fu Hua(SGD$5.00), signature house-made traditional beancurd inspired from Hong Kong, served with brown sugar on the side. This was smooth, creamy and soft.
Sad demise of Oh My Tian Cafe 6 months after changing hands.
Oyakudon Thigh with Japanese Rice (SGD$16.80) - juicy, grilled chicken parts with Japanese curry and sunny side-up egg atop the rice. The portions were generous but we thought that the dishes were a tad too salty.
I went on a Friday afternoon when the cafe was not crowded. Ordered the waffle with two scoops of icecream, which was recommended by others based on the reviews online. Was greatly disappointed with the waffle served as it was hard like cardboard instead of "crispy". The ice cream was also mediocre at best and nothing special. The presentation of the food was haphazard and honestly I expected much more when I paid $12.50 for this. They were also playing music from two different sound systems - clashing with each other which was annoying.
Would never eat here again as the waffles which were supposedly their "speciality" is the worst waffles i've ever had. Overhyped by food bloggers online and I was greatly disappointed.
It is exactly the same as Bonjour Dejeuner. And yes, they gave us a *Donut* not croissant.
Where is my Brioche as per the menu? Oh, they gave me a *Donut*, only after I asked for it. Melted cheese? Oh, it is instant nachos cheese. No Bechamel in sight. Totally not what I've expected. Seriously Oh My Tian..
Need a fix for some crispy waffles? Oh My Tian has hit it right on the spot just like it's sister's Hatter Street. Never goes wrong, crispy waffles with all time favorites choice of ice cream and an additional once in a while unique choice of sobert flavors such as honeydew or watermelon.
