Don't be mistaken, these noodles were not clumpy and tasted pretty good. Love the chilli paste they use, so much flavours going on and enhanced by the fried shallots. Yummy!

I walked past this kopitiam with the heavenly hay bee hiam aroma in the air.
I discovered the lady frying chilli in the stall and found myself breathing in heavier and deeper. I want as much of the fragrance in my nose as possible!!! After walking past for the 3rd time while getting my stuff, i decided that i should tabao my lunch even though it was only 10am. This is seriously too good to miss. The chilli is simply tokong - strong hay mee fragrance yet chilli doesn't overpower the tongue. Imo, better than Kin Kin Ban Mian!
