Here we go again! This time at the famous Thanasis (2.10 Euros for takeaway, 2.50 Euros to dine in). The gyros here is really well done, no wonder their reputation with locals and tourists alike. More flavourful than the other gyros we've tried and really fluffy pita too.

Thanasis is one of the Athens dining establishments to do for gyros. Try sitting away from the walkway to avoid being constantly harassed by street vendors.
