Don't miss out on this cosy spot in Laman Rimbunan that is decorated to mimic the famous JiuFen Old Street in Taiwan. Start with something savoury like the classic Braised Pork Rice (RM9.90) or the Oyster MeeSua (RM10.50). On sides, we recommended the Signature Popcorn Chicken (RM7) doused in a spicy seasoning. Don't leave without trying the Traditional TaroBall Ice (from RM8.90) for dessert. Look forward to a generous scoop of shaved ice (choose from regular soy or black soy ice) served with chewy taro balls, pearls and red beans.

Might be a new fav of mine. Really enjoyed the soy shaved ice! Best to let it melt so you can mix it in with all the other yummy toppings. Favourites are the grass jelly, barley and the chewy taro balls which I think are housemade.
Great snack to munch on while waiting for your desserts. Seasoning is very much like Shihlin’s but just a touch spicier. There’s a larger basket available too!
Another simple and tasty dish. Very well-seasoned braised pork that pairs extremely well with the pickled cucumbers, especially to help cut through the savouriness.
This cosy Taiwanese shop was buzzing on a Monday night! Cute that the interior mimics JiuFen Old Street in Taiwan – the counter is set up replicating stalls serving street food. Was drawn to the pork chop rice and it did not disappoint! Super affordable for a hearty portion, and didn’t expect the additional minced pork served too. Simple and delicious.
