this was part of their lunch menu available on weekdays from 11.30am-5pm. i got the beef (need to top up a bit but i can’t rmb how much) which was a biiiiit tough but still enjoyable. soup is refillable which is great but it was a bit hard to get the staff’s attention (they were helpful once they actually saw me though!) lots of veg, esp bean sprouts. overall a decent choice if you want something soupy and comforting

would come back again!

A feast for the tummy and eyes, the Yaki Tetsu Sukiyaki (minimum 2 pax to order) is cooked before your eyes in a traditional cast-iron pot, featuring thinly-sliced Japanese beef in sukiyaki sauce.

Grilled eel with egg and onions on rice. Grilled eel was surprisingly not too and as it was slightly charred, while the egg had so much flavour to it. This was very hearty to consume and maybe unagi could have been slightly bigger.

Meat and assorted vegetables cooked in pork bone soy sauce broth, with black sesame oil for more umami. Beef and vegetable portion was worth it for the price. Disclaimer: there are lots of beansprouts given hence if you do not like it, maybe you could ask them to not add it in upon ordering.

Assorted wagyu sushi; rump, toro, tataki, rossini, grilled miso wagyu, wagyu uni. It wasn’t too bad but I think that the rice brought down the whole experience. It wasn’t fluffy and didn’t tasted well. The beef on the other hand was definitely good.

Amazing food and sake selection. They are known for their beef- whether raw, stewed, grilled, or shabu shabu. Definitely not shabu shabu gen quality good. But decently nice for that iza night. The tuna bomb is my favorite, with tuna chunks on grill and fire served not tableside but on the table, the Mt Fuji is always heartwarming especially with ramen thrown in. Broth might get a little salty after a while that warrants the server to add a little water to make it right. Their raw beef sashimi is pretty good too..! But no dentures allowed as it’s really chewy.
