A little too sweet for me, but overall still not bad!

Nothing to rave about, but I like this place for its affordable prices. Also has a nice view of the vortex!

The skin is really crispy but the filling isn't that nice. The nice skin does help to cover for its filling

Can't go wrong pairing eggs and onion - fluffy omelette that is tasty and sweet from the onions

Tastes average but portion is good for the price. There are also eggplants in the dish.

August 10. We reopened for dining out. Went to Jewel to celebrate a friend’s bday. This is good for about 4 pax but the soup is quite little. Tried to ask for soup refill, unfortunately they don’t allow. Still a yummy dish to share with friends.

My great meal experience was ~almost~ killed by this chendol. Utterly disappointing because it felt like they missed out... gula melaka? Never a fan of sweet foodstuff but I still expected chendol to taste like chendol. It was diluted and lacked flavour, though the pandan jelly was commendable. Still, arguably a waste of money.

Adequately strong but not too sweet. Rather impressed!

Described as a Tom yam flavoured spicy and sour seafood mixed platter consisting of prawns, minced pork, squid, mussels, fish, egg, and mama/instant noodles—this dish was approximates for feed 2-3 pax. Please, it fed way more than that🤣 while I do think that 2-3 pax can finish this and feel full, groups accommodating more people can afford to try this and the other affordable Thai dishes they offer. The soup was lacked flavour upon first taste, but after a few servings and allowing the ingredients to simmer in the soup for a while, it became a good balance of spicy and sour. Honestly, this is a seemingly easy dish to cook at home. But, having this steamboat-mixed-platter vibe in a restaurant setting in Jewel Changi Airport makes the experience really fun and worthwhile, especially when it is arguably one of the affordable meals for a restaurant in the area.
I’ve seen reviews on Sanook’s service being horrible in other branches. While the service here was not outstanding, it may be understandable as it was peak hour and there were more people than usual. Although at times you do believe that some staff ignore you or are not as aware as you’d like, there were a few extremely polite and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. That contributed to a rather lovely meal experience there.

Green curry is good but really spicy. The beef is not bad. Ambience is not bad as it can see the vortex water falling from the top. Affordable.
