It should be the best fried chicken I've ever had, anywhere in the world. Thin crisp skin, with flesh so succulent and juicy, with what I thought was a milky taste to it. It's just fried chicken, with no fanciful flavours or anything on paper that sets it apart from the rest, yet it was perfected.

This is 950m away from Otaru Canal, or about a 10 minute walk. There are many, many touristy restaurants along Sakaimachi selling kaisen don, crab and other seafood. But really, I would skip all those and walk here for this.
