Red Bean Matcha Mochi (UP $4.90)
I decided to get this because I like matcha (be obsessing over something). The matcha texture filling was not that smooth (probably a bit grassy texture) and also not that soft or hard. Matcha topping on mochi just be chewy and stretchable to cut through it. I left it for a long time to eat finish because I got no time and turned slightly hard on the filling. Good for sharing together with your friend and family.
Nam Dae Mun (313 Somerest)
Handmade Mochi (2 for $5.50)
I decided to try their mochi because I personally like dessert and also wanted to try their dessert for a long time. So we passby the shop and my sister saw something related on osmanthu about ice jelly & dessert. We wanted to get something but we didn't feeling well so I told her that I will be coming back to buy for her.
I decided to get this because my family liked red bean included me also. The red bean texture filling was quite smooth and also not that soft or hard. Black Sesame topping on mochi just be chewy and stretchable to cut through it. Good for sharing together with your friend and family.
Osmanthus Sweet Rice Jelly ($5.50)
My sister told me that not that bad and got strong wine flavour on the ice jelly. It's quite refreshing and cooling dessert even it's quite expensive pricing imo probably they situated at 313 Somerest. They gave a lot of ingredients on the takeaway cup and I felt that their durable cup really don't leak it so easily. It's so worth it to try it out for first tries because it's quite interesting and nice dessert to share with your friend and family.
This mochi has a huge block of cream cheese inside with oreo crumbs on the surface. Honestly cannot taste the oreo at all, it's completely overwhelmed by the mochi and cream cheese. The cream cheese is really like a whole block inside the mochi 😂 goes well with the mochi but like the others, I find this too expensive and you could easily DIY it yourself if you have mochi making abilities. However cream cheese and mochi is a pretty nice combo so I'd eat it again (just not for $4.90).

The cake comes with a layer of salted egg cream at the bottom, and more layers of mochi, cream and cake, and is topped with a mixture of floss, nuts, dried fruits, biscuits and granola. If I'm being very honest, the topping lowkey looks like those colourful fish food flakes 😂 rest assured that it tastes really good tho!
The salted egg cream is thick and kinda has a doughy taste? It's not bad but the salted egg taste isnt that strong. The mochi is really sticky and stretchy, so good! Goes really well with all the cream. The cake is just one small piece inside, it kinda looks like a small pancake. However it also goes well with everything. The toppings my favourite, partially cuz that's where the floss is, plus it adds so much nice crunch!
Really delicious, a little pricey but one of those unique snacks that are hard to find in Singapore. They also have a yam and sweet potato version, and a fruit version that is $8.50. I think I may try the yam one soon hmm 🤔

Was quite surprised when I cut this open, I was expecting some kind of mango cream filling but instead, the mochi is covering a literal slice of mango 😱 soooo good!! Really really refreshing, the mango is sweet and pulpy and the mochi is very sticky and chewy. A really amazing combo, but soso expensive :/ probably cheaper to just buy your own mango and make your own mochi, but if you're not in the mood to do all that, this is so delicious and worth a try if you have money to spare!
