Really love dining at Nakhon @ Marine Parade. Very fast service and quality food. Also thereโs a waiter who can balance plates on his arm ๐ฎ
What we ordered:
๐ Tomyum Tanghoon w seafood ($5)
๐ Thai Hor Fun ($4) โ like SG one
๐ Chili Lime Seafood ($20) โ not so special imo, just nice presentation on the grill thing
๐ Pandan Chicken ($5)
๐ Mixed Veg ($6) โ nice umami sauce!!
๐ Olive Fried Rice ($6) โ couldnโt see/taste the kanacai though....thought they probably served wrongly
๐ Thai Ice Red Tea ($3)
๐ Red Ruby ($3)
๐ Lemongrass ($3)
I will opt for this any day over the upscale Thai restaurants. Deep Fried Pork with Garlic at $6, this is what dreams are made of.

Loved the spicy tom yum soup, found it full of ingredients (mushrooms and prawns, about 1 prawn for each person)! Another favourite was the honey chicken - the chicken was lightly fried and I loved how it had the honey sauce drizzled generously into it. Full review on closetnomster.wordpress.com !
More than even Pad Thai, I prefer this noodle for its ability to soak up sauces and carry flavour admirably. Nakhon's version comes packed with minced pork, fish cake slices, succulent squid rings, bean sprouts, spring onions and whole shallots. The smoky sauce lifted the dish even further and I enjoyed this thoroughly.
Ate so much and it was only S$49!
3 hungry men and 2 hungry cutiepies (including myself *cough*)
It was less than S$10 per pax for happy Thai food.. say "whuuut!" Not sure how long we queue for because we went to the pet shop next door to play with puppies and bunbuns *insert bouncing happy face*
On the table, you can see..
-Chicken Green Curry $8
-Pineapple Fried Rice (half eaten) $6
-Phad Thai Noodles $5
-Phad Thai Dang Hoon (I prefer this to noodles!) $6
-Tom Yam Soup (clear, prawn) (Cannot find ah? Inside the small bowl la. There!) $6

Really fresh, ripe mango slices, warm, sticky, chewy glutinous rice and creamy coconut milk make this a winner in my books.
