Mugiya (Hougang 1)

i was so glad i decided to get plain instead of kaya in the end bc this waffle is already sweet, its even a little too sweet on its own. put spread even worse sia. but it was really fragrant! there’s a strong coconut milk & pandan flavour, basically a kaya flavoured plain waffle. texture wise its more on the crispy side although it wasnt crispy (think belgian waffle) i was hoping when it cooled down it would soften and be like kueh then i can have best of both worlds but sadly after it cooled down it had the same texture, just slightly more lao hong. not the best waffles ive tasted but its good enough if there’s no other better option around
