As compared to previous year, the butter chicken this year had a much stronger taste. The gravy is more flavourful and goes really well with the pancake at the bottom.
One of the savoury flavour from the new SingaFour. Itβs children-friendly as the taste is not really spicy and the spices used for the filling is quite mild. Able to see small chunks of chicken.
Another sweet version of SingaFour from Mr Bean. Grated coconut coat with gula melaka that taste quite pleasant and full of gula melaka fragance. However the filling comes with sago, which is a turn off for me.
Going with a healtheir notion this year, my family tried out this brown rice dumpling from the friendly neighbourhood Mr Bean. The dumpling is a mixture of brown and glutinous rice together with other meat free ingredients such as mushroom, hedgehog mushroom, peanut, black bean, kidney bean and chestnut.
Only one thing i have to point out is that it falls apart quickly when i cut it into half as compared to the usual rice dumpling whereby the rice holds on to it very nicely due to the stickiness of the glutinous rice after it was cooked.
2 sesame and 2 peanut tang yuan with Mr Bean signature beancurd. Nice hearty bowl of breakfast but i had it for dinner π
Freshly made and itβs hot when served to me! Love that their cheese is not so jelak and it actually goes quite well with the kaya. The cheese lower the sweetness of the kaya.
