I always take the chance and order Garlic Fried Rice in Japanese Restaurants because more often than not, itβs a so simple dish yet wonderfully executed by the chef. With this being one of the relatively affordable items on the menu, the garlic fried rice lived up to expectations β with every grain of rice fluffy, fragrant, and fresh. If you want to jazz up your meal here but not stick with the classic Japanese white rice, this is the way to go.

Assorted sushi and tuna roll. Decently fresh and sufficient filling for one person! This also provides a variety of fresh seafood sushi if youβre undecided on the kinds of sushi youβd like to get for your meal. If not, itβs a good platter for sharing too!

Salmon sashimi was fresh and the ikura is a classic complement that would not go wrong in this don. This set came with soup and chawanmushi, which makes it pretty worth it.

Soft tofu baked with cheese and cod roe. A side that is both cheesy and rightly flavourful, especially when complemented by the mentaiko glaze. Pairs perfectly with rice!

Decent set which included rice, chawanmushi, and miso soup. If you like tempura, the tempura here is crispy and fresh, while the assorted sashimi gives some variety to the meal as well. This will be a good balance of raw and cooked food items for those who are in a dilemma.

Dried baby sardines fried together to form a crispy sheet. Got this out of curiosity, but was not worth it in my opinion. Perhaps I was just not able to appreciate this, but $10 was way too expensive for a side like this.
