😜 Tasted ok only but the resemblance is uncanny.
Our drinks came in urinals, hotpot in toilet bowls🚽, pasta in bath tubs 🛁 and appetisers in sinks.
This place has been on my to-go list since forever so I have to come here now that I am in Taipei. This is the classic curry chicken set (250ntd, ~11sgd) which comes with a drink & dessert. People told me not to expect much of the food here but I thought this is above average. Besides, this place is certainly worth a visit for the interiors & utensils.
One of Taiwan’s famous theme restaurants....is themed around toilets and 💩 Possibly the most off-putting theme for food I can imagine. It’s done well, you literally sit on toilet bowls for seats, the drinks come in portable toilet pans and the food is even served in miniature toilet shaped bowls. Some of the food is shaped to resemble a swirly poop, or it has a revolting name, a personal favourite (or not 🤮) being the ‘Bleeding Haemorrhoids Strawberry Milkshake’. The food wasn’t bad, I had the veggie hot pot....and I enjoyed the range of tofu, bean curd, mushrooms and vegetable balls....but I couldn’t get the sense of disgust out of my head. I felt a little “turned up” from the moment we sat down and didn’t really eat that much (I know shocker right!) because of it. Sorry @moderntoilettw, I can’t see me returning....

💵 For two people, full meal with sides and drinks plus a poop shaped chocolate ice cream included was around TWD1100...about £30. Not bad!
📊 Execution of theme 10/10, food 8/10, fact I can’t get over it feeling dirty and gross overall 6/10...sorry!
