The Mechanic Cafe

Let the talented team at this stylish cafe fix you right up this weekend for brunch. It's a spacious spot, so unwind with a friend over yummy plates like the Salmon & Avocado Breakfast (RM26) and the Thai Basil Minced Pork Pasta (RM20). For something sweet, order Luscious (RM22), homemade waffle served with matcha ice cream and homemade granola. Aside from regular coffees, they also do flavoured lattes well. Try the sweet Rose Latte (from RM12), or the Bentong Ginger Latte (from RM12) with soft hints of gingery spice.

I’m not a milk coffee drinker but this sounded really intriguing so I had to order it, and I’m glad I did! Love the sweet and gingery notes you get with each sip. And the milk wasn’t overly creamy as well.

Simple sounding dish with big flavours. I like how light and fresh everything tasted - especially that lemony avo spread! Eggs were perfectly cooked, charcoal bread was toasted nicely (though I don’t get why it has to be charcoal) and side salsa is super refreshing.

Had their top rated best sellers and we were like 😍😍 .

This is a spacious, and minimalist themed cafe. The furniture selection appeared to be “cold” with mostly metal and wood.

Staff were attentive and gave useful recommendations.

Monochrome minimalistic and spacious interior with lots of natural lights. Every corner is instaworthy! We visited in a group and the waitress got confused with our orders a couple of times. I didn’t try the food this round, but definitely will be back soon to try.
