Cafes In Cheras

Chicken fillet, eggs, spring onion and onions served on a bed of warm rice. Can’t decide whether I prefer this over the minced pork bowl. Both just so good!

Swapped the rice to salad for an additional RM2. The fluffy creamy egg is just perfect with the pork. I could have this everyday!

Still as good as before! Minced pork, fluffy scrambled eggs and bonito flakes.

Monochrome minimalistic and spacious interior with lots of natural lights. Every corner is instaworthy! We visited in a group and the waitress got confused with our orders a couple of times. I didn’t try the food this round, but definitely will be back soon to try.

Just simple spaghetti tossed in olive oil with pan seared salmon cubes. Pasta was slightly overcooked, but salmon was flaky and had good flavour. For lunch set, you may also top up RM6 for a selected drink.

Chicken & Waffle (Rm26)
Fried chicken thigh served on waffle with a side of spiced watermelon and maple syrup.
Chicken was so crispy and seasoned well. Waffle was average and one part of the it was pretty salty. The spiced watermelon was refreshing and yummy. A good finish to the fried chicken.

A small cozy space situation in an old apartment building. Around 7 items on their menu (available after 12pm) and a small selection of home baked desserts.
In frame: Minced Pork Scrambled Egg Rice Bowl (RM12). After seeing this quite a number of times on Instagram, I had high expectation on this simple rice bowl. Nothing extraordinary, meat was a bit dry, but the fluffy scrambled egg was good. Probably will give it another try to see if it’s better.

Spacious and brightly lit cafe. The space was quite empty during lunch time but starts to fill up around 2pm. Lunch menu served from 12-2pm which is the price of selected pasta dish + RM2 for a drink.
The salted egg yolk sauce was so creamy, rich and flavourful with a hint of chilli and the prawns were fresh. I would gladly have this again!

Rosemary Hot Chocolate (RM15) infused with fresh rosemary, served in a beautiful double walled glass. Rich with a hint of rosemary flavour.

The crust was firm and crispy, cheese filling wasn’t overpowering, and I love the amount of blueberries given.
