That's a lot of meat. I almost couldn't finish.
My first time trying this! The boss told me about it and I trust him. I'd say the experience was 50-50. It's novel and the omelette, chicken, chye por, seasoning, chilli sauce and other ingredients made it interesting. However, they were mainly fighting the ketupat, which was plain and really jarring.
Less egg this time, but still wet rice (yums). Plus free vegetables.
Simple and satisfying meal. I think the chicken here is all deep-fried. Rice was chicken rice.
The zhng version of the classic dish. Interesting it's served on plate. Almost everything I've ordered here looked pretty. Satay tasted like mutton and was ordinary. Although the fishballs were an addition, they're quite bad and can skip. Fyi this is a solid $2 pricier than normal mee rebus.
I like how the Malay stall's Maggi goreng is wet and not dark colour. Also generous chicken and free soup.
