Matchaya (Suntec City)

Ordered their Matcha Upsize ($8.50) and I would say it is quite authentic with the bitterness but I find it powdery

The Hojicha latte was as good as expected but what literally took the spotlight was the Matchaya Yuzu Cake ($10). The cake absolutely tingled my taste buds as it was earthy, bitter, sweet and sour all in one. The cake had a earthy bitter matcha chantilly with a nutty hazelnut base and covered with a layer of refreshing tangy yuzu honey jelly. It was so matcha-licous as all the components came complemented each other so well. 👍😋

Went to Matchaya last month and ordered a Matcha Cup (Regular) Icecream ($6)😇 If you are one to like authentic matcha you may like this alot! Overall ratings 7/10😁 I like it because it is not too sweet and tastes authentic, but a little too powdery for my liking😅

Visited @matchaya.sg's new outlet at @sunteccity after not having been at one of their outlets in a while. Tried the Lavender Yuzu Hojicha and it was packed with many flavours, which required some getting used to at first but I ended up enjoying it

The goma choux was alright, I would have preferred a stronger goma flavour in the filling. The chocolate on top had a smooth texture too.
