Colour me beautiful! 🎨 Magnum just launched their summer lookbook - your traditional Magnum ice cream on a stick, but dressed in 4 different looks. This was definitely curated for the instagrammers in mind; each one's aesthetics are vastly different, but they all have the same core.
Not only are they a work of art, there is a certain hypnotic element to watching your dessert being lovingly crafted in front of you.
The comforting velvety smooth vanilla ice cream that we all know & love is at the core of all 4 looks: Blooming Bouquet (pink), Ocean Tropics (blue), Desert Heat (orange), Lavender Dreams (lilac). Each have their own different accent flavours, which are quite subtle: Dried raspberries, a pinch of sea salt, crushed pistachios-- & surprise surprise, the lavender one doesn't have lavender flavour in it! (Maintain your expectations, y'all)
Not gonna lie, for someone like me who doesn't have a sweet tooth, this was expectedly sweet for me. But the appropriately-sized Magnum proves to be the perfect dessert portion, great for an after-dinner pick-me-up.
These special treats are available at $12 a pop until 16th September or while stocks last. So go check them out at the flagship Magnum Pleasure store in ION Orchard while they're still available 😉 There’s even a dedicated photobooth at the entrance where you can use props like fake flowers, plants, & seashells - & various background boards for you to take that perfect shot.
Honestly, I'm just here for the ice cream. But that's because I'm pretty lousy at taking photos 😂 Thanks Burpple for the invite & Magnum for the hospitality! 💕
Available at their pleasure store in Ion Orchard, this was both intricate and delicious. For $12, this is a relatively affordable treat to chase away the Monday blues.
Get in the mood for summer and add bold pops of colour to your weekend with Magnum’s limited edition Summer Look Book collection! Available while stock lasts till 16 September, the series of summer-inspired creations consists of 4 limited edition Magnums ($12 each) in the hottest pastel shades.
Each featuring the classic vanilla core, the pre-designed ice cream masterpieces, exclusive to ION Orchard’s Magnum Pleasure Store, are dipped in a thick coat of colored chocolate with cute names to match. In a cheery bright orange, the Desert Heat Magnum was my favourite with crushed pistachios, dark chocolate drizzles and sugar succulents. For something soft and femininity, the Blooming Bouquet Magnum came with adorable sugar flowers, rose petals, dried raspberries, and white chocolate drizzles. And emanating a fun tropical vibe, the Ocean Tropics Magnum is topped with sugar shells, sugar pearls, white chocolate drizzles, and a pinch of sea salt.
Thus, with an embellished Magnum in hand, pleasure seekers will also get a chance to capture the perfect Insta-worthy shot with the themed props at the DIY photo booth but snap fast before the edible works of art melt!
Get your whimsical weekend started by customizing your own Magnum at the Pleasure Store.

Magnum Ice Cream + Gold Nuggets, Speculoos Cookie Crumbs, Chili Flakes + Dark Choc Dip + White Choc Drizzle = $7.50. 🍦🍫🍪🌶
This is great for its novelty factor, but that’s not enough to make up for its underwhelming taste. Limited seating furnished in a very small space too. 😕 I do appreciate the professionalism of the crew though – they were really clear and concise in explaining the steps of customising my very own Magnum ice-creams. (6.4/10)
