How about a Christmas fruit tart instead of the usual log cake? A spectacular array of my favourite fruits (mangoes, strawberries and bananas) arranged neatly on a layer of sponge cake covered in light cream cheese filling, Littletartbaker's creation was a sure hit with my family when I presented them with the tart this past weekend. I especially enjoyed the thin spread of chocolate at the base of the butter pastry shell and fresh fruits!
Pretty and yummy, the dark chocolate tart from the Littletartbaker is rather dense and goes well with their light whipped cream. Though advised against the mango and dark chocolate pairing, it was surprising good especially for a mango lover like me.
