How about a Christmas fruit tart instead of the usual log cake? A spectacular array of my favourite fruits (mangoes, strawberries and bananas) arranged neatly on a layer of sponge cake covered in light cream cheese filling, Littletartbaker's creation was a sure hit with my family when I presented them with the tart this past weekend. I especially enjoyed the thin spread of chocolate at the base of the butter pastry shell and fresh fruits!
