Dine Out
Javanese version (influenced by Dutch) of French galantine. Made from egg and chicken meat roll served with steamed veggies and sweet and tangy sauce.
Tasty omurice (omelette and fried rice) with demiglace (French brown sauce). Was expecting less overpowering sauce and less tasty fried rice. The presentation looks good and tempting.
Big bites of tender spare ribs with sweet tones of BBQ glaze, served with french fries, coleslaw, and sweet corn. Worth trying when you're nearby.
Tomato, funghi, and mozzarella pizza. Delicious but decent at its best.
Made from layer of lasagna pasta sheet with pesto sauce and grated parmesan topping. Simply delicious 'til the last bite.
Deep fried chicken Singkawang style with hint of tamarind and coriander while marinating. Served with sambal terasi (belacan) and lalapan (local fresh veggies). Tasty inside out, a must order when dine here.
Curry gurame (carp) fish Singkawang style. Deep fried then soaked in tender sweet curry with chili, onion, okra (lady finger) and topped with kemangi (lemon basil). Simply delicious!
Front: chicken yakitori (forgot the exact name) with shisamo leaves, my fave. Behind: chicken breast with cheese.
Best to enjoy together. You can adjust the spicy level but i'd rather choose normal (original) one. Chicken, tofu, chives, all blend in simmering hot pot to ease your day.
One of my fave menu here. The chicken liver tastes creamy and scrumptious while simple stir fry chives balancing the palate.
Still one of the best in town for many years. A must try.
Clockwise: fish tikka, tandoori & mixed naan (garlic-cheese), black lentils daal, pulao briyani rice with raisins and nuts. Recommended!
