Dim Sum Dollies

Missing the #dimsum at Song Garden, especially the Oven Baked Snow Skin Bun 法式雪山包 ($5.40, 3pcs).

Soft and fluffy baked bun with a sweet, crumbly crust; filled with savoury, slightly sweet BBQ pork (char siew). #loveatfirstbite

Good dim sum at affordable prices. In fact, I like everything that we ordered and that's rare! Service's good too! Oh yah, the staff who took our order offered us the option to order by per piece instead of 3 pieces per plate (there's only two of us). I think that's brilliant as we can order a variety of dim sum yet won't have food wastage! Can't wait to go back there again!

Made freshly upon order, the silky-smooth rice rolls are stuffed with preserved turnip (chai po/菜脯) and drizzled with #CantonParadise's special soy sauce. A unique combination of savoury-sweet rice rolls. It's akin to eating chwee kueh with soy sauce but I kind of like this combination.

@ 聚豪拉麵小籠包. Tasty, savoury minced pork dumplings with flavourful pork broth, encased in thin, translucent dumpling skin. At $5 for 8 XLB, it's really value for money! Will be sad to see it go once Lavender Food Square closes.

Am a sucker for 流沙包. This is really not bad. Yums!

Pork ribs not tender enuff. Somehow, I think that Tim Ho Wan serves better pork ribs.

Skin kinda too thick, BBQ pork not tender enough.

Thin, translucent skin that didn't break with picked with chopsticks. Filled with fresh, crunchy prawns.

Smooth rice noodle roll with fresh prawns.

Quite nice but would be better if it's slightly more crispy.

Fresh prawns wrapped in crispy beancurd skin roll & seaweed. Simply delish!
