Found this authentic Japanese Izakaya restaurant at the edge of CBD area. Nice cosy deco that bears much resemblance to many iazakaya joints you see in Japan.
My favourite was the tako wasabi which packed a punch. The assorted sashimi was fresh as well. The other highlights are the momo shio yakitori and rosti mentaiko which are flavourful and screamed Japan!
A recommended try esp if u are in the vicinity!
A very unique and pleasant dining experience! First, the restaurant was nice and cosy, with the furnishings well designed, such as the handcrafted, natural cold freezer. The service staff, Jenny and Esther, were well-informed and polite. The master chef Akira was also friendly and skilled in his preparations.
finally the omikase itself was out of this world. the ingredients were fresh and succulent, down to the home-made ojicha ice cream. I ordered a Sake of the Week which was served in a unique Mt Fuji glass made of materials that was 100 over years old.
a highly recommended restaurant where u can dine in style and comfort!
