Wonderful wonderful experience here. Came during lunch hour. Felt welcomed the moment i stepped in. Staff was there to recommend us their popular dishes and gave us a breakdown of the plates when they arrived.
Compliments to the chef, everything was so well done. Special shoutout to the duck leg, picanha, oyster and mushroom, and the brownie. Duck leg was fork tender, mushrooms were so juicy, steak was so fragrant. Brownies were also super rich and moist, I didn't want to finish them because they were too good. I have nothing but compliments for this place. Please visit if you have the chance.

Came for dinner at around 7pm. A cosy restaurant. Waitress apologised for the slow service as there was an event going on, but service was still really quick. First dish we had was the fried squid. Squids were crispy and bouncy, and the sauce that came with it was delicious. The tanginess reminded me of tartar with an asian twist. One thing to note is that the portions for everything were fairly generous, way more than enough for 2 to share. We also had the brussel sprouts, which were fried to perfection, crispy and fragrant on the outside, but still moist and fresh on the inside. The sweet sauce that was drizzled on it sealed the deal. For mains, we ordered duck confit and ribeye steak. Duck confit is a must order. Duck was fork tender, and the sweet potato mash was blended so well it tasted like a pillow on the tongue. Ribeye was okay, the chimichurri was good and the fries were super crispy too. For desserts, we had the brownie and the alaska. The brownie had simply such perfect texture, thick enough to not be a cake, but fluffy enough that it was easy to swallow. Baked alaska was also really interesting, I loved how they played with the texture and temperature, from hot and fluffy top meringue layer, to cold and creamy ice cream, to spongy room temperature bottom layer of cake. There was also a surprise of passionfruit puree in the middle of the cake, which flowed out halfway through, that gave yet another layer of sour and sweet to the dessert. Endless compliments to the chefs for the amazing meal, and also not forgetting the front-end staff for the beautiful service and the sweet interactions. Will definitely be back. Do pay this restaurant a visit if you have the chance.

Came during dinner time. Food was unexpectedly good! Star of the show had to be the salted egg minced meat brinjal, it was simply the perfect pairing with rice. Portion sizes were also pretty decent, so for big eaters this would be pretty nice. Thank you for the wonderful food and experience!

Delicious food and good service, staff bothered to explain to us what each chilli was for. Recommend the Hokkien Mee and the Pao Fan!! Hokkien mee had super strong wok hey and was thick, pao fan went super well with the prawn broth. Something to note is also that their prawn shell has been plucked too! So no dirty fingers needed. Another highlight is their lime juice, caught me by surprise but it was pretty good.

Came here for lunch. Space was really ambient and relaxing, and music was really zen. Green tea was also super fragrant. The dishes that stood out to me most were the filefish and the mini don. It was my first time having filefish, and the chef showed us a photo of it. It had the texture of swordfish while having the taste of salmon, one of the best sashimis I've tasted. The uni on the mini don was also fabulous, super fresh, and well balanced with the fish roe and freshly ground wasabi. Staff were also super attentive and paid close attention to what we needed. Overall a beautiful experience here at Tomidou with lovely service and food.

Came at around 1pm. Felt like the setup was more for night time dining, but if you decide to come for lunch, you get to experience a little farm side vibes. Staff on duty that day was polite and friendly, which gave us a good impression from the start. He made sure to explain to us what they offered clearly and accurately.
Oysters and lobsters are can only be ordered once, but wow must I say, they were super fresh, i don't usually eat oysters but they were really good. Soup of the day at the time was pumpkin soup and although simple, i felt that it was worth mentioning as the creaminess of the soup really brought out the sweetness of the pumpkin very well. Drink while it's hot though cause it gets a little viscous after it cools. Another thing that stood out to me was the tuscan ribeye, they came as thin slices and i didn't expect much but the chefs were able to prepare it in such a way that even though it's thin, it was still super tender and juicy when i bit into it. Spaghetti bolognese was also fabulous, the taste of beef was quite promiment, but not to the point of gamy as the tomato cuts through the beefiness of it. My beef lovers out there, this is for u.
Moving on to desserts, the first one that caught my attention was the panna cotta. It had a light gassiness to it, which tingled my tastebuds along with the puree on top to give it a soury pop, which was a nice end to a rich meal. Those who are looking for something rich can go for the grilled bananas. Sounds simple but the torched sugar on top along with the sweetness and richness of the banana makes me feel like I'm cracking into a creme brulee! Interesting and satisfying.
Overall, will definitely be back. None of the dishes we ordered were bad, so definite props to the chefs and the lovely service staff on the ground that day. A happy and full customer here. 😊

Came during dinner time at about 6pm. The place had a nice atmosphere playing nice Japanese music. Staff was prompt in serving us and food was super quick! Staff was also really efficient and attentive, cleared our plates to make space for our remaining orders once we were done.
We ordered the spicy salmon don, garlic fried rice, oden, breaded fried oysters, kani gratin, 1 stick each of tare pork belly, A4 wagyu stick, tsukune, lemon sochu, and a glass of standard sake of the week. Favourite dish has got to be the kani gratin, mentaiko sauce was so savoury and umami, paired with the crab flavour, it really was a match made in heaven, was so good I got goosebumps. Worth noting would also be the tsukune, which was meatballs, and also the spicy salmon don. Meatballs had such a good mouthfeel and the sauce gave that pop of flavour. The salmon in the don was also super bouncy and fresh, and the wasabi that comes with it was surprisingly something that stood out to me too as the texture and strength was amazing. Overall a really solid experience. Will be back for more of that delicious kani gratin and fresh seafood.

Came on a weekday afternoon. Ordered yong tau foo, braised duck, red grouper with prawn soup, and koka noodle soup. The person tending to the stall at the time was William, and he was friendly and courteous. The food was really good too! Soup had that seafood umami, and yong tau foo soup was also light and sweet. Braised duck was really nice and i think would go really well with rice. Overall a good experience, will be back again!

Really great environment and music and super attentive staff.
Pork ribs were the best, got the original flavour and the meat was fall off the bone tender, with probably the best tasting bbq ribs sauce i've ever had. Really reccommended.
Grass fed ribeye was okay, a little too charred for my liking but seasoning was good and doneness was okay. Not as good as the pork ribs but still decent for the price!
Mom's mac and cheese was SUPER rich and i very much enjoyed this. The sauce was creamy and thick with the cheesy being super stretchy and punchy. The button shrooms inside were lovely as they cut through the richness with a burst of fresh wild flavours. However, i would reccommend to consume this as a sharing plate as it gets abit too rich towards the end. Nevertheless, this was still really good and better than most mac and cheeses out there.
Lastly, the apple crumble wasn't really my cup of tea as i felt the cooked apple below the granola was a little 1 dimensional and flat. Ice cream on the top was nice and creamy though, so i enjoyed that.
Overall, i will definitely be back for the ribs and mac and cheese.

Pleasant experience here! Ordered the premium braised combination beef noodles and it could be enjoyed 3 ways! First was the clear soup, which was my favourite, really clean and beefy taste. Second would be to scoop 2-3 mouthfuls of braised sauce into the soup, and lastly would be to dry stir it with the braised sauce and pickled veggies. Loved the meats too, their golden coin was so so tender.
The century egg tofu was also really good because of the addition of bonito flakes, really brought out an umami flavour while the tofu compliments the texture and the century egg compliments the fragrance.
Special shoutout to daniel and another male staff who i didnt manage to get a name. Took the extra effort to explain how to go about eating the set meal and ensured we were enjoying ourselves throughout. Thank u! Will be back.

Located near botanic gardens MRT, a lovely experience at Fat Belly. Staff was really welcoming. Our starter was the Toasted sourdough with cheese and Provolon Dolce Oregano. LOVED the starters. Sourdough was like any good sourdough should be, soft but still chewy. And the pesto(?) sauce was just amazing, bursting with garlic flavour. The mini balls of EVOO on the top of the tomatoes were also a pleasant surprise! Gave the mouthfeel a burst of freshness and richness. Loved it, perfect execution.
Broccolini was alright, it was fresh but i feel could do with a little more char. Sauce was also a little too freshfeel so it didn't compliment the broccolini much.
Wagyu denver's doneness was spot on, for a steakhouse, they lived up to their name. However, some parts were abit too charred so it gave an initial bitter taste.
The breakfast fry up would be a solid pick for those late mornings where you need something hearty and warming. Truffle scramble was THE best, eggs were cooked till the perfect consistency, a runny-solid state that i enjoyed. Thick cut bacon was also such an umami bomb.
Lastly, the classic new york cheesecake i felt was a little powdery/chalky on the palate, which made the mouthfeel on the dryer side. However, i enjoyed the combination of the passionfruit sauce and jam.
Overall, would definitely come back for more!
