we were in the area and decided to eat at smu! wanted to eat at onalu bagel haus but we came too late and they were out of bagels ๐
- cream sauce + smoked duck breast + sous vide egg + corn ($6.10)
thereโs a min order of 3 toppings but blind me didnโt read the board properly and panicked when the person asked for my third.. so i went with cornโฆ shouldโve picked a meat ๐ญ
overall pasta was rlly rlly good for the price eh i think itโs quite comparable to twystโs for almost half the price, and more toppings!! they gave quite a lot of smoked duck which i wasnโt expecting but am thankful for, it was so tender iโm craving it nowโฆ
also tried the curry katsu from the curry store but i couldnโt tag the store oops
the katsu was sliced thinly which is what i LOVE bc thick slices makes it hard to chew and i have the taste palate of a toddler; curry was also very sufficient for the price??
also got thai milk tea from the thai food store ($2)
itโs not too sweet and quite a lot for $2!! the lady provided me with a fork to mix the condensed milk bc it will sink to the bottom over time HAHAH
overall if i get an offer from smu i will seriously consider itโฆ for the food ๐
- pepperoni pizza
- carbonara
all lunch sets came with a soup (ours was miso soup), a drink and ice cream
the pizza was def the highlight for me, it was served HOT and the cheese was so stretchy ๐ซจ carbonara was good too!!
food was rlly good but it was a lot, my stomach barely held up after everything lol
would come back to try the other mains!!
- penne pomodoro w beef pepperoni, sous vide egg
- spaghetti alfredo w smoked duck, sous vide egg
both were $10.90 and i have to say it was so FRKING good i loved the alfredo spaghetti, the sauce was soooo smooth and went very well with the tender smoked duck pieces. canโt say much about the pomodoro bc iโm a white sauce kinda person but would come back again!!
