My benchmark in selecting the best thai food, prawn cakes. There were whole prawns inside each ring and they were all fried to a beautiful golden brown. Juice was oozing out of this treat and is surely a repeated order for me. Can't recall the price but trust me, it won't disappoint!
CALLING ALL GARLIC LOVERS 🧄🫶🏻🥰 Chicken is coated with what I think is a seasoned batter used for most fried thai food. The killing point is the fried minced garlic sprinkled on it! NO WORDS JUST TOO GOOD! Can't recall the price but trust me, it won't disappoint!
A huge shout-out to the fat and juicy prawns that came with the noodles. Perfectly seasoned and no greasiness. Can't recall the price but trust me, it won't disappoint!
The aroma of the basil is hard to miss and the spice level is just right. The sauce was also delectable. Can't recall the price but trust me, it won't disappoint!
Am very intrigued by how the color wasn't particularly green, but was rather yellow. Nonetheless, it was a spicy and delightful curry with generous portions of butter-soft beef. Can't recall the price but trust me, it won't disappoint!
Just look at that dollop of coconut ice cream. A modern and fun twist to the usual coconut milk for red ruby. The water chestnut used to make the rubies were crunchy and sago was a pleasant addition. This outdid the mango sticky rice in my opinion.
Superb!
Not a fan but this was not too bad. Sticky rice was moist and warm, served with sweet Thai mangoes that have been garnering quite a following and the coconut cream was sweet as well.
Nice✌🏻
All rice and no noodle makes me a dull person and to order Phad Thai would make me a more basic one. So I ordered this to balance out the chicken:beef:seafood ratio.
Not disappointed especially with the generous seafood and heavenly wok-hei that spread in your mouth with every bite. The vermicelli was soft and easy to swallow, not spicy and left a clean taste after.
Recommended!
The picture is evidence of its size. The one that stood out to me the most was the sauce. Infused with lime, garlic, chilli and coriander, this was a fresh and pleasant firework in my mouth.
The giant squid required some self-knife work (there's no free lunch in this world, ain't it?) and the squid meat was chewy. This is really up to everyone's perception of how well they like their squid. I like bouncy squid but this made me choke once but not enough to deem this a bad dish.
Yet again, I can't remember the price but $~10 and up.
This dish makes me want to take a loud hailer and profess my love for it.
This is not an exaggeration but this was beautiful. Cooked to medium, the slices of angus beef were so tender and melted in my mouth with minimal chewing🧈. Served with chilli flakes, salt(?), sour chilli dip - giving the meat a more diverse taste profile.
Total damage: $23.90, Worth it? Yes!
Not too creamy and sweet, perfectly cooked. The chicken slices were thick and juicy and ample to go around 4 adults despite it looking really small. The brinjal/eggplant was surprisingly not the bitter kinds I've eaten in other Thai surprise and it was a cleanser to the cream.
I threw my receipt away, hence I am unable to share the price but the website is easy to navigate and a full menu is available.
Will I order again? Maybe not, because there were many more dishes that have outshined this.
This dish confirmed my initial assumption that good Thai restaurants often have the picture of their late King😂
The Tom Yum, unlike the one at my usual hunts, was creamy and was loaded with fresh seafood. The squid rings were plump, fish slices were plenty and prawns were bouncy and fresh.
While battling a bad stomach, I needed something sour to whip up my appetite and this did not fail with its moderate spice and sourness hitting straight for the stomach and taste buds.
Price point for a bowl shared between 4 adults and accompanied with a number of dishes is at $9.90.
A good steal.
