Rösti 🥔
While they have a smoked salmon rosti with poached egg under their main menu, I was delighted to see plain rösti being listed as a side on the menu 😊 The grated potatoes are pan-fried till golden brown, crispy on the outside while retaining their moisture and soft texture inside. It was a good alternative when I love all things potato yet trying to save some space for some meat 🍖, sausages 🌭 and beer 🍺 》$6
It's so sad to see them go 🥺 I'm already missing my weekend brunch at Riders Cafe. The homemade rösti & breakfast sausage is served with poached eggs, bacon, hollandaise and parmesan. The crispy fried potato shreds are well-seasoned and pairs well with their homemade juicy sausage 》$19
My classic rösti with chicken chop came with crispy fried potato shreds along with juicy and well-seasoned chicken chop drenched in appetising brown sauce, topped with coleslaw and a dollop of sour cream by the side. The rösti was well-seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The slices of chicken chop were a little thin but what I liked about the chicken was its soft and succulent meat grilled to juicy perfection with crispy skin 》$10.50
The 6ixs rösti offers affordable and tasty rösti in three styles (classic, spicy, cheesy and Japanese fusion) accompanied by a wide choice of proteins such as chicken chop, black pepper chicken bratwurst, smoked duck, smoked salmon, beef cube, crispy fish and chicken cutlet.
I love the combination of russet and sweet potatoes they use to make their rösti. The rösti is not oily and looks more like a plate of fried noodles. The bbq pulled pork is tender juicy and complements well with the rösti and sunny side up.

Something different this time around where we have cafe-style ang mo breakfast by the roadside coffee shop. This place serves a pretty affordable English breakfast with plain rösti for just $5.90. I ordered their rösti with egg and German sausage set that came with a dollop of sour cream. The rösti was done with a crispy outer crust with fresh, savoury and a little undercooked potato shreds underneath. Overall it was not bad if you do not expect cafe quality food in a coffee shop 》$9 + $0.20 Takeaway
You can get your own swiss meal created with 1 Main, 2 Sides, 1 Sauce.
We have the Chicken escalope (+$1) as main, signature rösti (+$1) and fried egg (+$1) as sides and sour cream as our choice of sauce.
The chicken escalope was succulent and well seasoned and the rösti was pan-fried to golden brown with a crispy outer layer while the fried egg is just a normal sunny side up.
Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Main Dish for the price of 1 ✌(U.P $14.90 + $3 Add-ons)
Grilled varvelat, rösti, caramelised onion sauce
The sausage was thick and firm which paired well with the caramelised onion sauce. The rösti was pan-fried to golden brown with a crispy outer layer. Everything was delicious but it gets a little too salty towards the end.
Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Main Dish for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P $14.90)

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
