This was overly sour for us, and there were some prawns within, and reminded us a little of tomyum, but not really for me.
This was good tho! Ngl it looks like spring roll but the fillings inside reminded of McNuggets š.
This came sizzling hot, altho I'm not sure if good ones are supposed to be crispy (?). Slightly salty, but just right when paired with rice.
Have you tried Filipino food before?! I q enjoy Filipino food, altho it's not easy to find good ones in Sg.
Chopped Lechon (Ā½kg - $23.50)
This was better than the one we had at Don Lechon, with the meat being much softer, and slightly oilier/ juicier. The skin could still be crispier tho, as the thick skin was slightly hard and difficult to bite at parts.
Chopped Lechon (0.5kg - $22, 1kg - $40)
I came here for these, but these were served cold, which already meant what we were having weren't of the best quality. Some pieces of skin were crispy, but there were some that were very hard and almost impossible to bite through. There's nothing special about the pork here as well other than its thick cut.
Overall pretty disappointing, and after being hyped for such a long time, I guess the standards have really dropped drastically.
You can choose to get rice meals/ order dishes ala carte here, but the former will come with rice and smaller portion of meat that's more suitable for 1 pax.
Lechon Sisig Ala Carte ($14)
This was the better of the 2 dishes. It's meant to be piping hot when served, but it only sizzled for a good 15s before it stopped, which was pretty disappointing. The meat here was quite flavourful and went well with rice, but it's apparently meant to be crispier.
