I was blown away by this pancake as it was super light and fluffy with a moist, melt-in-the-mouth texture. The pancake has a slightly eggy taste and pairs perfectly with the syrup and berries. The syrup is quite sweet though so just a little is enough to elevate the flavours!

The thai milk tea filling in this is pretty sweet, its reminds me of condensed milk. The actual tea element isnt super strong but its still really fragrant and really good. Must try!

Anyways. The strawberry cream cheese filling is smooth and creamy with a natural strawberry taste scattered throughout. The pancake is soft and overall, one of the best MJKs I've had.

🥞 Garden Pancake ($16++) (7.6/10)
Basically a dutch pancake topped with an egg, spinach, mushrooms and bacon. The dutch pancake is chewy and slightly sweet, while the savoury toppings are savoury (duh). I feel like they dont really go together all that well so it was a bit odd for me.

🍗 Martabak Chicken ($17.95 for 12pc)
This martabak must definitely be eaten fresh or toasted because the crispy skin is everything. Its so crunchy and satisfying to bite. The fillings are really thick and generous too, with a lot of egg and bits of minced chicken meat.

🍫 Original Chocolate Cheese Martabak Manis w/ Peanuts ($5.95 for 3pc)
Chocolate, cheese and peanuts seems like a pretty unorthodox pairing, but it surprisingly works well. The sweet chocolate creates an interesting dynamic with the cheese and the crunchy peanuts are really delightful. The pancake is also super soft and has a slight kueh-like texture, which I love!

The ondeh ondeh filling is sweet and fragrant, there are little bits of brown sugar within the ondeh ondeh that makes it sweeter too.

🍪 Red Velvet Oreo Martabak Manis ($5.95 for 3pc)
The cream cheese is generous and really creamy, the crushed oreo bits are really good too.

Munchi once again proving theyre the gem of Yishun. This biscoff MJK is generously filled with creamy biscoff filling and crushed biscoff. Biscoff lovers def wont be disappointed by the generosity of the ingredients.

The MJK itself is a tad oily but I didnt mind it that much, especially for the cheap price!

As someone who has lived in Yishun forever, yet has never tried Munchi Pancakes, I bring shame to the entire devil's ring. People like to shame Yishun for being supposedly cursed, but imo one of the greatest things to come out of here is Munchi Pancakes.

This black sesame MJK is filled with grainy black sesame spread with actual bits of whole black sesame, making it extra crunchy. Its also really generous, which is an added bonus!

The pancake itself is a bit too oily for my liking. It's lowkey drenched in oil, but the spread itself is incredible. For the price, really worth it.

Will def be back for more of Munchi's pancakes!

I was expecting some kind of artificial strawberry jam but I think this is made of real preserved strawberries. It's more sour than sweet and overall quite meh, the strawberry doesn't really add much to the peanut. I think I'd rather get a regular peanut MJK so there won't be that odd sourness.

The red bean is those really sweet and artificial kinds, super smooth but still nice! The peanut is more like peanut butter, which I really like. But as mentioned, the peanut taste is drowned out a bit by the red bean.

I'd say that it's better to get the red bean and the peanut as separate pancakes cuz even though it looks nice, you can't really get a distinct taste when they're put together like this.

I've noticed that not all outlets have this MJK, so I had to go to Junction9's, which usually has the most flavours and MJKs that are bigger than other outlets. Really glad that I did cuz this MJK is suuuper generously filled with brown sugar coconut! Typically my critique of Jollibean is that the pancakes are too thick such that the fillings aren't enough, but in this case, there was such a thick layer of coconut 😋

The pancake has a pretty strong pandan taste! Which was a nice change cuz by now I'm so used to "pandan" flavoured breads not actually having any pandan taste. The brown sugar coconut is really sweet and fragrant too, and very generous.

If you've tried the typical peanut and red bean ones, this is definitely worth a try too!

Pretty average pancake, the filling is sweet and the pancake is those MJK pancake kinds. Could have more filling imo. It's really small for the prize so I wouldnt get it again :/

Anyways this is the last of the Jollibean pancakes I tried, all are really average and not very generously filled, also really small yet expensive so just get the big MJKs. Much more worth it.
