Mentaiko pasta had a distinct seafood flavour which was v enjoyable too! However I can’t say the same for the other two pastas 😕 To be fair this place has jap influence but I found it rly hard to appreciate carbonara that tasted like asian dumplings(possibly due to the addition of onions??). I guess sometimes looks are deceiving indeed 🧐 Well at least the pastas were al dente! To be safe just go with the pizzas here.
The truffle pizza(+7 for burrata pls add) here was rly impressive. Loved the dough and how creamy the base was, though the truffle was v mild.
The nutella pizza was unique, looked but didn’t taste like a sweet crepe bc it had a slightly chewy texture even though the sides were crispy. Loved it!!
Carbonara was so good(w pecorino but not overpowering). I loved the sauce of this, though I’d v much prefer if they used spaghetti or another kind of pasta instead of rigatoni!
Fancy dinner place for delicious fried pizzas 🍕 Can’t get over the chewy texture and freshness of the dough. The toppings also went v well tgt even though I don’t rly like prosciutto!
Very cheesy carbonara but idm it at all 😋 Thin-crust pizza was not bad too. Love the vibes of the place, felt like I was on a holiday!
Loved the creamy burrata. It was only 125g but definitely enough if you’re ordering it only as a starter. Even better paired w/ the bread and tomato dip!
Had the (1) Tagliatelle w pork sausage, mushrooms & black truffle sauce (2) Rigatoni w fresh tomato sauce, cheek bacon & pecorino. They were very generous with the meat in both, pasta was al dente but the rigatoni was slightly undercooked. Loved both the cream and tomato-based sauces. Worth it!
Think they are known for the fried pizzas but I was pleasantly surprised that the penne vodka was equally delicious. There’s also a complimentary plate of antipasti for every drink ordered 🍸 highly recommend this place! Was too full for dessert actl but still got the tiramisu anw - can skip next time 😆
Don’t recommend this unless you prefer non-traditional carbonara that is more soupy w unnecessary spices. Get the signature pastas instead of the classics!
[Weekend colapranzo buffet] Was amazed by the appetizers - all rly delicious! Nv tasted anything like the spinach flan before, had a silky smooth texture, drowned in cheese fondue. Burrata looked dry but was creamy and the seared tuna salad was so refreshing.
[Weekend colapranzo buffet] This was one of the selections from the Mains section in the buffet! Portions are sizable and even the mains were free-flow. Fresh and flaky fish, though the skin could be crispier.
