Venture Into Veganism
This tastes really really good.
Think MC chicken but vegan
For a vegetarian dish this is very addictive, with a couple of beers you'd be downing bowls of these.
The batter is light and crispy, while the meaty mushrooms are lightly flavoured with spices and salt.
This place is Instagram worthy, and perhaps the only Instagram worthy place in Johor.
The lighting is perfect, the color selection of the interior and the tasteful rustic and industrial furniture is just a step above everything else.
Most Cafés feel either too cluttered and messy or very sparse and famished.
Image cooker strikes a perfect balance of decor and style.
Not to mention their vegan selection is good enough for a carnivorous being like myself.

Roots has literally mastered the making of sourdough, you can tell the fermentation is done perfectly making their breads have the signature tanginess of sourdough that is not intrusive

A springy eggy delight, with tomatoes and spinach to surprisingly brighten the eggs.
This is an lacto ovo vegetarian dish

A perfect starter for your meal.
This vegetarian soup tastes absolutely heavenly.
A mix of broccoli, herbs and umami from what I think are dried mushrooms.
100% meet free, but 100% delicious.
This is an ovo-lacto vegetarian sourdough bakery, and it would be the first time I actually appreciate the presence of the bun in a burger.
A wholesome and tasty but animal free version of an American classic
The mixture of cheese is cohesive, providing a satisfying layer over the artisanal sourdough that is used as the base.
THE MUSHROOMS TASTE LIKE STEAK!
If you have a friend who says vegetarian food is bland and unappetising, bring them here.

It ain't meat, it's mushrooms, but it sure tastes like a steak, kudos to this restaurant for all their playful and exciting veggie dishes that got this carnivore satisfied.

The food here is simply amazing, sourdough pizza dusted with samolina flour, Aglio Olio with mushrooms that taste like steak, and a fragrant broccoli soup.
Any meat eaters who think vegetarian food is bland or unpalatable should come here and be surprised by the deliciousness of the spread.
Have you ever went "wow this vegetarian burger is better than a real burger"? Because I've never uttered something like that in my life, not until I ate this Tempe Burger (RM17.80)
It's slightly on the salty side but the crispy exterior of the Tempe and it's meaty interior absorbs the flavour well, and you can't tell it's Tempe (I really hate Tempe).
The fries that come with the burger are done so perfectly well, with every bite having a thin crispy shell that hides the mushy soft potato interior, (shame on you McDonald's)
I give this burger a "will definitely buy again" /10
Also tried their matcha toast (RM5.80), a little sweet for my liking.
Their drinks and desserts are also spot on, like the Durian ice cream floating in a bath of coconut milk, sago balls and pomelo (Rm17.80) and the Mango and Sago coconut milk (RM10.80). Both are fantastic for a hot sunny day.
Dessert Library gets all three of my thumbs up, not to mention they have a whole rack of books and mangga that also includes the first season of Slam Dunk.
