High Tea
Tried the lemon one previously and this time got the avocado and beetroot ones because i was curious if their flavour.
I must say that my favourite still remains to be the lemon one! The flavours for these two were milder. The beetroot one really had no flavour (besides from being a cheesecake) and the avocado one fared abit better though still mild.
We often passed by this rooftop cafe whenever we have our shopping errands in Chinatown. A unique cafe situated in the bustling shopping district. One would be fascinated how it has a good view of the busy streets.
Quite fancy for the price, I think would be worth it since it is an Instagrammable cafe with itās cute interiors. We ordered their ādurian lava cakeā - which I thought would have some chocolate on it.. āburnt cheesecakeā which we find it too sweet; probably because it is the basque kind. For the drinks, the barista suggested their hot tea for a picture-worthy drink but since Iām not a tea lover I opted for their āblue butterfly teaā and the rest of my friends had papaya milkshake and caffee latte.
Overall experience it was 3/5, probably Iām not a tea person but the cafe is a good place to chill.
High tea set which comes with one pot of tea. It's a must for each person to have one drink so my friend and I order another pot. The variety is way too huge so we got the staff to make recommendations. Ordered another lemon coconut tart. Total bill comes up to about $70.
Visit if you are a fan of their macarons and tea. The macarons are among the cheapest around at just $2 each. But there are better high tea sets out there with similar pricing.

4ā Back at Intercontinental for their high tea since there's 1 for 1 in the BurppleBeyond app. We can only choose 1 tea/ coffee each and we had white tea Pai Mu Dan & Garden Tea. Sis gave a good suggestion for eating high tea, eat savoury food then sweet food then back to savoury food and so on. At least we are not overwhelmed by the sweetness and enjoyed this high tea better. There's 3 choices for the ice cream: hazelnut, pink grapefruit & coffee and it's free flow.
