Open till 2.30am daily, this popular supper spot is a short walk from Kovan MRT. Here's what we tried!

🌟 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝗞𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽 ($𝟲)
Brewed with 15 different Thai spices, the clear pepper-based soup is served with curled up rolls of kway (broad sheets of rice noodles). Don't be fooled by its unassuming appearance because the broth sure packs a punch with its strong peppery flavour 🔥

We ordered the signature version, which comes with thai fish sausage, lean meat, offals and deep-fried pork belly. For non-spicy eaters who still wish to try their sides, consider the plain rice option to go along!

Well-cleaned, the fried offals proved to be an addictive snack! Though prices have increased over the years, this is still a side dish that's worth adding on for 🐷

We had an enjoyable meal at the Upper Serangoon outlet (they also had one at tampines, and Holland Village sadly those are not around anymore). Head over to enjoy a taste of Thai street food 🇹🇭✨

Opted for the creamy tom yum soup, with a strong coconut milk flavour. This comes with a good amount of ingredients (such as prawn, tioman fish, squid and shimeji mushroom). Wished there's straw mushrooms in this!

We visited on a weekday evening and saw a constant stream of customers. Heard that the basil pork rice is good and would try that when I revisit!

The tender pork cheeks was an unexpected find. Leans towards the fatty side and best enjoyed with the accompanying chilli🔥

Despite being a relatively new addition to the neighbourhood, they have already attracted a steady crowd of patrons. The owner stressed that their dishes are Thai-inspired, so don't go expecting authentic Thai cuisine.

Recommended by the owner, these prawn cakes are handmade in-store. Each piece is deep fried till golden and comes as a substantial amount, with soft fillings 🦐

Served with 4 prawns, this came in a portion that could easily feed 2 small eaters. The vermicelli soaked up the black pepper taste though if you prefer a heavier flavour, you'd probably want to pair this with the condiments provided! We ordered the small version ($14) but if you're sharing with bigger groups, try the large version ($18) instead.

Ended off our meal with this beautiful red and green ruby dessert. The chewy crunchy texture made this such an addictive treat! 💎

We also tried the thai milk tea & thai green tea here. The drinks are not as sweet as most other thai eateries, which is a huge plus for me 👍

A comforting bowl of soup, this came with a good amount of ingredients. Enjoyed the firm meatballs and the sweetness of the broth. Good for when you're feeling under the weather ☔

For those who prefer something bold, try their tom yum noodles! The tom yum base leans towards a sour profile with some spicy notes. Ours came with succulent prawns, fish, sotong and straw mushrooms. Sadly, the sotong wasn't very fresh 🍜

Tossed in special sauce and lard oil, this bowl of springy egg noodles is highly recommended by the owners. Comes with wanton, charsiew and a good amount of pork lard!

Heard that they launched a new truffle wanton mee too 🐷

Since it was raining on our visit, we also got a bowl of noodles soup. Also available in dry version, though we felt the soup variation could use more spice 🥵

This slow braised pork knuckle is one of their signatures! The pork knuckle soft and tender, with a good fat-to-meat ratio 👍
