Soba / Udon 🍜
Each sukiyaki udon comes in an individual sukiyaki ‘hotpot’ filled with an assortment of carrots, Chinese cabbage, green onions, enoki and shiitake mushroom. Topped with a generous serving of thin beef slices swimming in their rich and savoury sukiyaki broth 》$11.20
3 ways to enjoy their sukiyaki udon
1. Dip the chewy udon into the oozy egg mixture
2. Immerse the udon in the soup for one minute to get a softer texture
3. Mix the egg, udon and soup together
Tamoya Udon is most well known for their firm and chewy udon which is made with a mixture of three different types of flour.
This bowl of pork udon comes with a flavourful bonito soup base, accompanied with a sous vide egg. The whole dish feels light and tasty with a nice chewy texture to the udon.
They also have unlimited servings of condiments such as chilli, ginger, grated radish, lime, plums, tempura crumbs and wakame made available to top it on your bowl of udon 》$9.80
1 Base, 1 Protein, 2 Supplements, 1 Topping and 1 Dressing》$8.90 + $2 Baked Salmon
The all-in-one healthy bowl has been gaining it's popularity over the years in SG where it comes with a good balance of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates. Good Bites are also focusing on healthy eating and nutrition. Their menu is also simple and easily customisable.
Here we have gotten the customised nom nom bowl with:
Base - Soba Noodles
Protein - Baked Salmon (+$2)
Supplements - Broccoli, Grilled Pumpkin
Topping - Roasted Almond Flakes
Dressing - Sesame Soy
They are very generous with the serving of salmon which was done perfectly with a layer of crispy skin. The grilled pumpkins are sweet, tender and lightly seasoned with pepper while the almond flakes are added for a nice crunch to the dish. It will never go wrong to pamper ourselves with such affordable hearty bowl after a workout at Bishan sports hall.
They have 5 different types of dressings over here which are all creatively created by themselves. There's lime paprika yogurt, sesame soy, caesar, lime balsamic and lemon basil pesto. I personally like their sesame soy that has the combination of fragrant sesame with lightly salted soy sauce.
This is also available on Beyond! 🎉

Juicy chicken, vegetable with homemade yuzu miso sauce and Japanese yuzu soba.
This is similar to the yuzu miso salmon soba except this comes with chicken instead of salmon. Soba and yuzu base is tasty but I prefer to have it with salmon over chicken.

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
