Savoury croissant packed with mentaiko prawn filling and mozzarella cheese finished off with ito garashi (Japanese dry red chilli pepper shred). They were generous with the crunchy prawns filled in each croissant. The filling goes really well with the crispy layered croissant. Every bite is an umami bomb 》$6
It all started from the garlic butter cheese loaf that was given by the owner over a carousell transaction. Never did I expect it to be so good that I’ll make a trip down to their bakery to get more bakes.
Over at this bakery, you will find perfectly baked pastries hot from the oven, tarts to fill up your day and cakes that fit any occasion. I got their pastries for some tea-time snack which pairs well with a cuppa at this time of the day.
The pastries I got are banana chocolate danish, lemon cheese chocolate danish and chocolate woods. Their danish are crispy, buttery and not overly sweet. The chocolate woods is a little harder in texture with a chewy bite that comes with pistachio and chocolate chips. Their cakes were highly raved by customers who came to collect their orders during my visit which makes me want to order one soon.

Starting off our dinner course we have the (complimentary) soft and fluffy kombu brioche with smoked miso butter. The salty taste of miso was prominent in the butter and I like how it goes with the warm and fluffy bun.
The danish is flaky, fluffy and buttery danish with some sweetness from the apricot 》$4.50

This is my usual favourite appetizer with bread served warm. Nothing beats bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip. Am I the only one who starts filling myself with bread at restaurants 🤔
These buns taste very much like mantou with a chewy and bouncy texture except it comes with fillings. My favourite goes to their chocolate buns with rich and smooth chocolate flowing out of the bun after steaming along with stretchy mochi and chewy bun. The yam bun was also good with subtle sweetness and natural yam paste. The matcha didn’t turn out as good after reading those highly raved reviews about it. Perhaps I was expecting it to come with strong matcha flavours. I like how these buns are mildly sweetened so we get to taste the natural flavours.

One of my favourite starters is olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce paired with hearty bread. The bread is so soft and airy. I like to dip and let the bread sit in the oil for a while to absorb more of its delicious flavour 🤤

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
