Special Days

Came here for wifey’s birthday and it was a satisfying meal. The seafood were fresh and the portion was quite okay for 1 person.. (because I don’t eat seafood so she ended up eating all herself, while I ate the corn and sausage 🤓)

We ordered the Cajun sauce, and the sauce was pretty overpowering… will probably not order this sauce in the future

Nice buffet spread at The Colony (Ritz Carlton Hotel). The atmosphere was really romantic and the service was good. The downsides were that we couldn’t take the food ourselves (thanks COVID) and that the tables were really small for the spread that we ordered.

Food wise was fine, the desserts were .... not nice. The cooked food (laksa, roast pork and beef ribs) were not bad! The seafood they serve were all fresh. I had too much crabs that I wanted to vomit after haha. We just felt that the food were all so so, nothing amazing that will make us come back again.

Oh but they gave us a beautiful chocolate cake for our anniversary! 😍

Overall, we’d give it a 7.5/10 :)
