After months of procrastination, I finally went down to Lino to try their famous Burrata. I honestly could not believe my eyes when it was served: the burrata was massive! The pizza had a crispy thin crust with generous servings of tomato passata and cherry tomatoes, with the creamy burrata elevating the mouthfeel of the dish. The burrata, which is essentially curd and cream encased in a gorgeous pouch of mozzarella, was mild and milky, complemented beautifully by the basil pesto. Absolutely met every single one of my expectations!

As part of the #burpple 1-for-1 deal, we also had the tortellini, which was stuffed generously with ricotta and spinach. I loved how cheesy and flavourful this was, with the slightly grainy ricotta giving every bite another layer of texture. Unfortunately, perhaps there was too much oil served with the tortellini, as my dining partner and I both swallowed copious amounts of oil while having this dish.

Nonetheless, with the Burpple deal, the meal came up to ~$14 per person for an extremely filling lunch (to be honest, we were so stuffed that we took a while to start leaving LOL). Definitely worth a try! 🤩
