Chinese Food
So gutted to hear that TSP will be closing soon😢 this place served up some real good comforting taiwanese dishes that is perfect for rainy days. Favourites here were: Burnt Chili Chicken, Braised Cabbage, Lor Bak, Tofu with Century Egg! Will miss this place alot!!
You cant really go wrong with this dish at Din Tai Fung! Other good items are: Xiao Long Bao, Chili Oil Wontons, Chocolate Xiao Long Bao
While Man Fu Yuan nailed all of its Dim Sum dishes right, one star of their me u is definitely its dessert - Cream of Avocado with Baileys Ice Cream! This is not to be missed! Chef was also very courteous to come out to meet with the diners and seek feedback on dishes, was also very accommodating to different dietary requirements my companions had (they can make vegetarian options!)
This was one of the better dishes here at Yan Ting. Had a set lunch menu, dishes were reminiscent of what you would expect from a Chinese hotel style wedding dinner. Another good dish was the Cod Fish, nicely tender! However the other dishes were pretty one dimensional and average
Great Peking Duck experience, served with Popping Candy to pair with the duck skin. Crispy skin with juicy meat! Opt to deep fry the duck bones to enjoy with beer!
Good balance of spicy and numbing, cheap prices!
Don’t expect much, food is pretty average. Some good items and misses here. Mee suah kueh is their specialty its worth a try for a first
Hidden well in Science Park is this very nice tze char restaurant. Had food delivered with the Crab promo. Would highly recommend the Gan Xiang option for seafood dishes, it is umami, packs a slight punch and its all the right flavours. Black Pepper is also a good option!
