Broth was rich, flavourful and slightly spicy (for the spicy lovers), came with an egg and pork slices that were a tad porky.
Kway teow was generous and prawns were huge. Well worth the price and will definitely return again for this!
Affordable at $5, came with 2 halved prawns and 3 pork ribs.
Soup was not overly creamy or heavy with a strong aroma of Prawn heads and pork broth.
Very different from the Beach Road Prawn Mee style of soup
My childish taste buds opted for ketchup, noodles were cooked just nicely. Pork lard was crispy, pork ribs were slightly tender and not too porky. Prawns were fresh, decent sized and well cooked.
Overall this wins Beach Road, but Beach road has a richer broth.
A relatively new stall at Bedok 85. Large portion of prawns for $7 worth and a rich creamy broth! Recommended.
