was super excited to try this bc this has been on my list for the longest time!! did not expect the portion to be this big, totally worth the $$$. the brioche bread was fluffy yet well toasted on the outside and the pulled pork was sooo good, it was sweet and had a slight tanginess. they were also super generous with the amount of pulled pork. with the poached eggs, everything went so well together and i was left feeling so satisfied 😋

Pretty wide variety of meat available (chicken, pork, beef) with unique flavours such as curry and herbal marinated meat, in addition to the usual unmarinated, black pepper, teriyaki... Not a fan of curry but herbal is not bad. They also have processed food like crabstick, hotdog, luncheon meat, veggies, mushrooms and kimchi, different types of sauces (ssamjang, red pepper sauce, sweet thai chili, doenjang etc), cooked food (tteokbokki, chives pancake, waffles). Cooked food was not to my liking, I prefer the bbq stuff.

As we used BB 1 for 1, we had to adhere to a 100 min time limit and were charged original price $29.90 + svc charge for 2 pax. Drinks was an additional $2.50 for free flow. Non-BB customers can get 20% off original price and there is no time limit.

Service staff are friendly and nice. :)

I would gladly forgo bubble tea for the bespoke teas here at @steepedteabar when I am in Bugis. In addition to its minimalistic and relaxing interior which makes it an excellent hangout choice, I was impressed by the quality of the fresh brewed teas extracted using an espresso machine. Clean and natural tasting. 💯 We got ourselves the grape oolong and pear high mountain oolong from the signature tea mocktail selection.

Just as the boyf wanted, the grape oolong was suitable for no sugar option where delicate sweetness from grape juice and pressed grape skin tartness meet a floral oolong. I was, instead, awed by the pear high mountain oolong which contained actual Williams pear purée. A real deal! The robust tea notes were more distinct in this tropical pairing. They have also recently released a whiskey peach tie guan yin cocktail, cousin of their peach TGY mocktail. How interesting things have gotten. They also carry L’Atelier Tiramisu, my all-time favorite Tiramisu.

Thanks to #burpplebeyond, we enjoyed 2 tea mocktails at the price of 1, it was such a sweet deal! (Pun intended). I am sure I am gonna run out of my #burpplebeyond deals here in no time for such unique espresso-brewed teas!

we got the laksa prawns spaghetti. disclaimer: the menu makes everything look more savoury and larger in proportion than it actually is. as for the flavour of the laksa itself, it was pretty good and authentic to the original that you’d get at hawkers. didn’t rly seem that much of a “fusion” dish, just looked like a dry version of your regular laksa made with pasta instead. the biggest disappointment were the toppings - ESPECIALLY THE EGGS. i guess i just expected more incorporation of western flavours and spices. but it’s a tasty dish nonetheless!

Food was in good quantity and the sauce on the dons was delicious (around 15 pax per person, 8 - 9 SGD using Burpple 1 for 1). Great that the restaurant provided self-service cold water and spices on the counter ☺️ Left the restaurant with a happy tummy.
