This was meh, milk tea was not fragrant and pearls were not chewy... can give this a pass and buy other milk teas outside.
Another fav from this store- the minced meat sauce went well with both rice / noodles! Chose nacho cheese sauce for the pork chop (other sauces: salt & pepper / BBQ) and no regrets~ Worth a try!
Meesua with fried crispy chicken and pork intestines- love this too!!! Huge fan of Taiwanese food and the meesua went very well with the chicken, intestines and chili.
Love this braised pork rice!!! The braised meat was soft and melted in your mouth, the minced meat sauce was just the right salty and savoury and the egg was šÆ~
Available on BB 1 for 1 so it was a steal! They have a current promotion where you can buy a main (from this list) and get a drink or dessert (from a list also) for free. But the braised pork rice was $7.80 on that menu so technically you are paying $1 for the drink/dessert and its not free? Hahaha.
Yummy noodles with very flavourful minced chicken sauce (generous portion of minced chicken!) but adding the chili sauce/oil will be a good kick for those who prefer spicy food.
Service crew were very friendly and nice! We wanted to order dumplings (promo 40% off alc) to go with our noodles but unfortunately, we couldnāt combine BB promo and their dumplings promo so we didnāt get the dumplings ite. However, they did give each of us a dumpling to try as it is their signature dish. They make the dumplings only when there is an order so they are fresh and hot. It was not bad, but a bit too salty for me.
Total: Main Dish + Drink = ~$12 for 2 pax
P/S: For BB, only can order from 5 dishes (if I didnāt rmb wrongly)- Beijingās signature noodles, noodles with fragrant mushrooms and minced chicken sauce, rainbow wonton noodle in chicken soup, chicken and fragrant mushrooms with rice and egg fried rice. Do check with the crew to confirm before ordering~
10 pieces of XLB for $7.50. Gets cold easily so it is best to eat them first when they are still hot! Love the minced meat and broth wrapped in the thin skin of flour + vinegar = good alternative to Din Tai Fung~
Pretty wide variety of meat available (chicken, pork, beef) with unique flavours such as curry and herbal marinated meat, in addition to the usual unmarinated, black pepper, teriyaki... Not a fan of curry but herbal is not bad. They also have processed food like crabstick, hotdog, luncheon meat, veggies, mushrooms and kimchi, different types of sauces (ssamjang, red pepper sauce, sweet thai chili, doenjang etc), cooked food (tteokbokki, chives pancake, waffles). Cooked food was not to my liking, I prefer the bbq stuff.
As we used BB 1 for 1, we had to adhere to a 100 min time limit and were charged original price $29.90 + svc charge for 2 pax. Drinks was an additional $2.50 for free flow. Non-BB customers can get 20% off original price and there is no time limit.
Service staff are friendly and nice. :)
Total cost: $32.80 for 2 pax
Oops we took a piece or two before I took this photo hence the empty space in the middle.
Chewy grilled squid but the mentaiko sauce didnāt taste like the mentaiko sauce I was expecting... tasted more like mayo instead. :( Underwhelming and pricey dish which I will not order again.
This dish cannot be redeemed using BB as it is a seafood dish under Mains.
Tucked away in a corner of OC level 8, there were not many customers on a Thursday evening. Good place to eat and talk (they didnāt ask us to go even after we finished our meal).
Non-spicy sweet Thai laksa broth with flat boat noodles and a chicken thigh and some veggies (long beans, carrots). Itās decent but not wow or anything.
P/S: Restaurant doesnāt serve / has water.
P/P/S: Only Mains (those without seafood in it), Noodles/Pasta (excluding Tom Yum Soup Pasta Kang) and Rice sections are available for BB.
