first time here and it was packed on a weekend afternoon (as expected). food was relatively slow as dishes came one at a time 😩 sambal stingray was pretty good though with the right amount of spice! also tried the sambal lala clams and they were decent. overall a good place for simple family meals with a nice view and β€˜dine in a park’ vibes that won’t break a bank!

still one of the best meat puffs i’ve tried! chanced upon the snaking queues awhile back at a pasar malam, decided to figure out the hype and was instantly hooked. generous stuffing of meat is ultra tender and the puff is deep fried to perfection! queues have died down now at the store so definitely give it a shot if you haven’t

this is the first time giving their mains a go and honestly, just stick to the baos πŸ˜₯ got the crab pasta and steak pasta, both were very underwhelming. the baos however were good as always, chili crab ones are crispy and the others filled with mentaiko goodness!

first time here, there was a bit of a queue but it moved fast. sesame chicken was good as expected with generous portion! other dishes like sambal lady fingers was good too except the gongbao gravy was a little watery. can’t wait to come back and try the mala chicken πŸ˜‹

for $50, it’s just nice for 4 pax and comes with longan dessert as well. assam was appetising but felt that it was a little on the watery side and could be thicker! other dishes were decent too but personally nothing fantastic~ had to wait quite awhile for food.. worth the price though!

hands down my favourite hawker! not much of a fish fan so i always ask for more minced meat instead~ prawns are of a decent size and fresh! soup is filled with umami and really tasty. perhaps they can be more generous with the soup 🀀

used the fave deal ($45) for this set for 4 including the famed fish head steamboat, salted egg prawns, pork ribs and veggies! everything was really good and fish was so fresh. soup is refillable too πŸ˜‰very worth it and would love to come back

this homegrown cafe needs no introduction. you can never go wrong with their famed kaya toasts & perfectly-done eggs (set A)! prices are affordable and i love that they still serve horlicks

famed for its michelin stars, the soy sauce chicken does live up to its name. super tender and flavourful with every bite! rice was fragrant too~ satisfying meal!

fragrant coconut rice and egg was runny πŸ‘πŸ» chicken wing was very crispy but not fantastic as it’s rather small. chili was disappointing as it’s not spicy at all, rather on the sweet side
